Per fortuna la musica è un buon strumento di evasione, cosi come il cinema, o la letteratura o qualsiasi forma d’espressione artistica.
#41 è una canzone della Dave Matthews Band, gruppo straordinario che ho imparato ad aprezzare da veramente poco. Musicisti eccezionali, al limite tra jazz e funk, ma con una buona dose di acustica e un violino che folkettizza un pò le canzoni.Davvero bravi.
Li ho scoperti grazie a quella bella personcina che Francesco, che a tempo perso fa il violinista nei Mcr(scusa Frency..ihih).
#41 è una canzone della DMB, ma è anche il nome di una cover-band bolognese-aretina, nel quale milita appunto Frency. Dopo innumerevoli inviti, declinati tempo fa per lontananza fisica e nell’ultimo anno per vair impegni, negli ultimi mesi son riuscito a vederli 3 volte, e a breve si prospetta la quarta.
E’ un trio. voce(riccardo cesari), chitarra(paolo la ganga)e violino(money). in qualche brano pure riccardo prende in mano una chitarra. eeeh che dire…son bravi sti 3 qua..ma davvero molto. rileggono i brani in una maniera davvero esaltante. moneti vabbè, col violino ci sa fare. ma il buon la ganga alla chitarra ti fa rimanere incantato..trasmette passione..diventa un tutt’uno con lo strumento, si deforma fisicamente e inoltre si sforza talmente tanto(perchè i brani non son per nulla facili) che impossibile rimanere seri di fronte alle espressioni che assume mentre suona. e riccarod invece ha una voce che da uno che è mingherlino come lui(dev’essere una prerogativa dei riccardi) non t’aspetti..diversissima da dave matthews ma che nella loro rilettura ci sta da dio..e non prende mai un tono contromano.davvero in gamba tutti e 3. e poi, cosa da non sottovalutare, son 3 sagome.disponibilità, simpatia, allegria, compagnia, bravura. queste cose in un gruppo si trovano raramente.loro ce le hanno.all’ennesima potenza direi.
Han da poco fatto anche un cd con le loro cover(two step, #41, ant’s marching,the stone, tripping billies) veramente bello.
ps:per chi vuole sono il 1 febbraio a Creazzo(vi), il 16 marzo all’Irlanda in Festa a bologna e il 9 aprile allo zò cafè(bo), dove ho visto l’ultimo concerto in buona compagnia..ma questo è un altro discorso
